I don't know where these concerned people are, but I don't hear a thing about this issue. This is a good article, however, and touches on many relevant issues.

Scientists tell us that it is just a matter of time before some virus mutates into pandemic. Such a world wide disease might be mild or severe. H5N1 has a good chance of mutating so it can be passed from human to human. So preparation is wise. The goal is to stay alive a few months until a vaccine arrives. Infor here:
